Joseph was drawn to finance early, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Randolph-Macon College, along with minors in Economics and Mathematics. He launched his career at Nasdaq Dorsey Wright, where he spent seven years in Index Research & Product Development conducting market research, quantitative analysis, and contributing to research publications and educational materials. Joe also played a key role in developing investment strategies across broad asset allocation and individual equity selection, integrating technical and fundamental analysis to support more than 5,000 financial advisors at a firm overseeing nearly $15 billion in client assets.
A former college baseball player, Joe credits the experience with developing the discipline and resilience that have shaped both his career and life. He later earned a Master of Science in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Today, he lives outside Richmond with his wife and their one-year-old child, embracing the perspective and purpose that comes with fatherhood.
Motivated by a desire to work more closely with clients, Joe joined Cornerstone Advisor Group as their Chief Investment Officer in June 2026. He brings the same analytical mindset, discipline, and commitment to building lasting relationships that have guided him throughout his career.
